Alexander Gerst wird als erster Deutscher Kommandant auf der internationalen Raumstation ISS. 6000 Trainingsstunden liegen hinter Alexander Gerst. Im russischen "Sternenstädtchen", in Houston und in Deutschland hat er sich auf die große Herausforderung vorbereitet. Ob Feueralarm im All, ein Defekt im Raumanzug oder ein Systemausfall bei der Landung der Rückkehrkapsel, alles muss geübt werden.
